Thijs de Jong

Thijs de Jong has worked as a Reliability Engineer at Adimec Advanced Image Systems bv since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Intern RD&E at Sentech B.V. from September 2020 to February 2021. Thijs also has experience at Team Force Fusion, where they worked as a Mentor from September 2019 to September 2020, a Board Member from September 2018 to September 2019, and a Team Member from September 2017 to September 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Stagiair mechanisch ontwerper at Adimec Advanced Image Systems bv from August 2018 to January 2019 and as a Process ondersteuner at VECOZO from May 2018 to August 2018.

Thijs de Jong started their education at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in 2016 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics in 2021. During their time at Fontys, they also pursued a minor in Robotics and Vision at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in 2019. In 2021, Thijs enrolled in a pre-master program at Eindhoven University of Technology, focusing on Embedded Systems.

In addition to their formal education, Thijs has obtained certifications outside of their academic studies. In 2018, they completed a "Snelcursus EHBO" (First Aid Crash Course) offered by Rode Kruis Nederland. Thijs also holds a CSWA certification from the SolidWorks Authorized Training Centre. Furthermore, they have achieved leadership positions in Scouting Nederland, specifically as a leader for Bevers, Welpen, and Scouts.
