Sukanta Pandit

Sukanta Pandit has a diverse work experience in logistics and operations management. Sukanta started their career as a Senior Supervisor at Desk to Desk Courier & Cargo Ltd in 1996. Sukanta then moved on to Overnite Express Ltd, where they worked as a Senior Manager Operations for six years. During this time, they handled the entire operations for the Northern India region and implemented new business models.

In 2006, Sukanta joined Seventymm Services Pvt. Ltd as an Operations Manager, and in 2007 they became a Logistics Manager at Reliance Big Entertainment Ltd. At Reliance, they were responsible for setting up distribution centers, developing retail outlets, and managing the entire logistics and supply chain for the Delhi region.

In 2010, Sukanta joined Mahindra & Mahindra as a Senior Operations Manager and later took on the role of Location Head for Mahindra Logistics Nasik. In these roles, they managed end-to-end logistics, including transportation, warehouse management, and plant operations. Sukanta also oversaw vehicle roll-out and delivery coordination at various Mahindra locations across India.

In 2014, Sukanta worked as the Location Head for Haridwar at Mahindra Logistics, leading a team of around 770 members and managing the automobile logistics business for the Haridwar plant. Currently, Sukanta is working as the Head of Logistics at Aditya Birla Group, where they are responsible for driving innovation and managing end-to-end logistics and distributions for ABOF. Sukanta also focuses on optimizing various cost items and fostering a creative climate within the organization.

Sukanta Pandit has a diverse education history. In 1994, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts from Burdwan University, West Bengal. In 2007, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Logistics Management from the National Institute of Management. In 2011, they attended Harvard University for the Harvard Manage Mentor program, focusing on Finance & Business / Managing Others. In 2014, Sukanta Pandit briefly studied Logistics Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Sukanta also holds a certification called "Harvard Mentor Manage" from Harvard University.
