Kakha Kalandadze

Kakha Kalandadze has a diverse work experience in various roles within the IT field. Kakha began their career as a Senior System Engineer at JSC "Basisbank" in 1999 and worked there for a decade before moving on to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. At the Ministry, they held the position of Information Systems Manager and Head of IT department, where they led a team of 15 staff members and implemented IT service management processes. Kakha also designed and implemented several IT projects, including a VPN project connecting the ministry with 52 diplomatic offices around the world. After their time at the Ministry, Kakha worked as an IT Project Manager and Business Analyst at Bank of Georgia from 2011 to 2014, where they successfully managed various IT projects. Kakha then joined the National Bank of Georgia as an IT and Information Security Auditor, where they played a key role in implementing an Information Security Management System. Kakha then transitioned to the Public Service Development Agency, where they worked as the Head of IT Infrastructure Management Service. In this role, they managed the IT infrastructure and implemented ITILv3 processes to optimize daily operations. Kakha then moved on to Geocell - გეოსელი, where they served as the Service Assurance and Operations Manager. In this position, they led a 45-person team and implemented incident and problem management processes to reduce incidents by 60%. Most recently, Kakha has been working at adjarabet.com | aPeople, first as the Head of IT Operations Management Department and currently as the Director of Global IT Operations. Overall, Kakha has demonstrated a strong track record of leadership and expertise in IT operations management, infrastructure management, and project management.

Kakha Kalandadze holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from the Georgian Technical University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they also completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same university, from 1996 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Kakha Kalandadze has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they completed a Cyber Security Management course at the Singapore e-Government Leadership Centre, National University of Singapore. In 2013, they obtained certification as an Information Security Manager from the Data Exchange Agency. Furthermore, in 2009, they completed the CIO Training Program on Strategic Planning and management of Information Technology at the Singapore e-Government Leadership Centre, National University of Singapore. Lastly, Kakha Kalandadze became a Microsoft Certified Professional in 2006, specializing in managing and maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 environment.
