Make an Impact/ The role:

As a People Operations Partner you will be part of a dynamic and international team, working cross functionally with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and Finance. You will be responsible for handling and coordinating monthly payroll preparation, providing critical HR administrative support for our team members and employees, and for establishing new personnel processes in order to guarantee and ensure legal compliance, great employee experience, and maintain a positive company culture. You will be a trusted listener and overall approachable HR representative for our employees within specific business functions, always open for feedback and contributing to our people-oriented company culture. You will also work closely with our internal HR System team to provide accurate reporting and employee data analytics.

Please note: this is a part-time (20 hours/week) position.

Empower Your Potential/ Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and coordinate monthly payroll preparation (for the US, Brazil and our EOR), with regards to the entire employee lifecycle (e.g. payroll registration, personal and employment data changes, time off and absences)
  • Supervise all HR activities for our Americas locations (reports, requests and documentation) 
  • Be the first point of contact for our employees based in the Americas region for any HR-administrative topics
  • Manage and own people operations-related projects, process improvements, and automation implementation (e.g. onboarding support, maintaining employee records, administration and issuance of documents, amendments)
  • Maintain and continually improve features of our HRIS (Workday)
  • Manage all operations in the on- and offboarding process 
  • Support the People Operations Team with EMEA related responsibilities and projects for other entities (Germany, UK, France, Turkey)
  • Support the HR Business Partner teams with projects and local HR activities

 

Bring Your Knowledge/ Experience & Qualifications: 

  • At least 2  years’ experience as an HR / People Operations Manager, Admin or Generalist
  • Passion for HR Operations and experience working with different stakeholders, ideally in a global company
  • Experience in handling and coordinating monthly payroll preparation for different countries (ideally the US, Brazil)
  • First work experience with employer of records (DEEL)
  • Knowledge and understanding of US and Brazilian labor law, taxation and social security systems in regards to payroll operations
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Experience with Workday and Deel is a plus 
  • Fluent in English, any additional language is a plus
  • Independent and solution-oriented working style 
  • Proactive communication style and open-minded personality (as you will be the operational point of contact for all our Americas employees)
  • Knowledge and understanding of German (or other EMEA countries, UK, France, Turkey) labor law, payroll preparation etc. is an advantage 
  • Open to flexible working hours and working closely with the EMEA Team
