João Paulo Cherubim

João Paulo Cherubim is an experienced operations leader with a substantial background in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Head of Operations at ADL BioPharma since January 2021, João Paulo has successfully turned around the company's EBITDA from negative to a profit of 5 million by the end of 2022. Prior to this role, João Paulo held various positions at Amyris Inc from 2011 to 2020, culminating as CMO Director Europe and leading significant production initiatives in Spain and Italy. With earlier roles including Plant Manager and Production Manager, João Paulo has developed expertise in production scaling, process development, and operations management. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and additional degrees in beverage technology and management from various institutions.
