Tianyi (Kelly) Yuan, Ph.D.

Tianyi (Kelly) Yuan, Ph.D. has over seven years of experience in business development, clinical project management, and scientific research. In 2020, they began their current role as Associate Director, Business Development and Senior Manager, Business Development at Adlai Nortye Biopharma Co., Ltd. Prior to this, they worked as a Manager of Business Development at Jiangsu Henlius Biopharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. from 2019. In 2019, they also worked as a Global Study Manager at Covance, where they managed 30+ multi-center global clinical trials for oncology and neurodegeneration disease with companion diagnostics on Phase II/III. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Scientist IV at WuXi AppTec, where they developed methods for protein detection, worked on bi-specific antibody drug pharmacokinetics (PK) studies, and developed molecular diagnostic assays for in vitro diagnostics (IVD). From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Yale University School of Medicine in the laboratory of Dr. Diane Krause, M.D. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an exchange student at University of Washington, where they designed and conducted single molecule imaging of SNARE proteins during vesicle secretion in live cells.

Tianyi (Kelly) Yuan, Ph.D. obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biophysics from Peking University between 2009 and 2015. Tianyi (Kelly) also obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Fudan University between 2005 and 2009. Additionally, they obtained their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program Level I Exam from the CFA Institute in August 2019.
