Bethelhem Sisay

Bethelhem Sisay has worked as a Data Engineer at Adludio since May 2022. Prior to that, they were a Subject Matter Expert at Gebeya Inc. starting from May 2021. Bethelhem also worked as a Data Scientist at the Technology and Innovation Institute from February 2021 to October 2021, where they contributed to machine translation projects. Earlier in their career, they were a Network Engineer at Ethiopian Electric Utility from October 2020 to February 2021. Bethelhem also volunteered at the Ethiopian Society of Electrical Engineers (ESEE) from September 2017 to January 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Programming Trainer at iCog Labs from September 2019 to April 2020 and as a Student Intern at Semnet Systems from January 2019 to June 2019.

Bethelhem Sisay completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and computer engineering from Addis Ababa University from 2015 to 2021. In 2021, they also pursued a course in Machine Learning and Data Engineering from 10 Academy. From 2020 to 2021, they participated in a Data Science Skills Lab Apprenticeship program at Microsoft 4Afrika Skills Lab, Gebeya Inc. Additionally, Bethelhem Sisay studied Economics and earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree from Jimma University from 2018 to 2022.

Bethelhem Sisay has obtained several certifications, including "Being an Effective Team Member" and "Efficient Time Management" from LinkedIn in November 2020. In October 2020, they completed "Az-900 Microsoft Azure fundamentals" certification from Microsoft. Other certifications include "Learning Azure Management Tools," "Learning C# Algorithms," "Learning Cloud Computing: Core Concepts," "Python Essential Training," and "Solving Business Problems," all obtained from LinkedIn in September 2020. Bethelhem also completed "Introduction to Cloud Computing for IT Pros (2018)" from LinkedIn in August 2020. Furthermore, Bethelhem Sisay achieved "Programming for Everybody Getting Started with Python" certification from Coursera in December 2019. Finally, they obtained "Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate" certification from Microsoft in January 2021.
