Rhen Tiburcio

Rhen T. has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security and technical support. They started their career as an Intern at Concentrix, where they provided technical support and addressed technical issues. They then joined Atos as a Technical Support Analyst, where they provided analysis, problem-solving, and technical assistance to staff for computer hardware, software, networking, and applications systems.

After that, Rhen T. joined Smart Communications, Inc. as an Information Security Analyst. In this role, they analyzed network traffic for cyberattacks, implemented intrusion detection and prevention strategies, and examined malicious software to understand their threats and impact. Later, they became a Senior Information Security Analyst at the same company and performed comprehensive investigations of cyber security breaches and frauds.

Currently, Rhen T. is working at Adlumin as a Cyber Security Analyst. They support cyber defense functions, including incident response, monitoring, and analysis using SOC monitoring devices.

Overall, Rhen T. has progressively advanced their skills and responsibilities in the field of cyber security, gaining experience in incident response, threat analysis, and technical support.

Rhen T. pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from the Technological Institute of the Philippines, from 2013 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Rhen obtained several certifications in the field of cybersecurity. They completed the "Introduction to Cybersecurity" course from Cisco in August 2020. In December 2022, they obtained certifications in "Cybereason Certified Threat Analyst," "Cybereason Threat Hunter," and "(ISC)² Candidate" from Cybereason and (ISC)² respectively. Rhen also received the "Cyber Security Foundation" certification from CertiProf in June 2021. They further acquired the "NSE 1 Network Security Associate" and "NSE 2 Network Security Associate" certifications from Fortinet in May 2020.
