Nick Fernandez has held a variety of roles since 2017. In that year, they were a Marketing Director at Berry College, where they recruited and managed a team of marketing assistants and photographers, and promoted the Department of Recreation via social, email, tabling, and print marketing. Nick also worked as a Summer Orientation Leader, where they mentored new orientation leaders, orchestrated 4 sessions for the incoming Freshman class, and worked with a team of 19 leaders. In 2018, they were a Marketing Intern at Pinnacle Bank, where they network-managed new bank drive-up services, compiled financial reports into excel presentations, and collaborated with Mighty 8th Marketing agency. Nick also worked as a Projects Consultant and Student Director at Berry College Academic Transitions, where they recruited, hired, and managed BCC Mentors who guide first-year students, created training schedules and templates for class lessons, and led all-group meetings involving student leaders and faculty/staff. In 2020, they were a Digital Campaign Manager for Rob Leverett | Georgia State House Representative, where they created and managed social accounts, developed and managed the campaign website, and the candidate won the primary runoff in a tight race. Finally, they are currently a Marketing Manager and Marketing Strategist at AdMedia, where they are managing AdMedia's brand across 12+ and 10+ major platforms respectively, forming and presenting marketing plans, and pulling analytics to form quantitatively-informed decisions.

Nick Fernandez has a comprehensive education history. Nick obtained a High School Diploma from Athens Academy in 2017. Nick then attended Berry College, graduating with a B.S. in Psychology and double minors in Business & Entrepreneurship/Innovation in 2021. In 2019, they participated in a Summer Study Abroad program at Colegio Mayor Padre Poveda in Madrid, Spain. Currently, they are pursuing an MBA in Business Analytics and Marketing at American University, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In addition, Nick holds a number of certifications, including the Association of National Advertisers Member, American University's Emerging Innovator Certificate, Stukent's Mimic Social, and HubSpot's Content Marketing and Inbound Marketing Certified. Nick also holds certifications from Hootsuite, Google, LinkedIn, NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, and CITI Program, A Division of BRANY. Additionally, they are a member of Gwinnett Young Professionals.
