Andrea Callow

Andrea Callow has an extensive background in health policy, particularly in Medicaid and Medicare advocacy. Currently serving in the Office for Policy Analysis and Development at the Administration for Community Living since March 2020, Andrea previously held the position of Associate Director of Medicaid Initiatives at Families USA from July 2014 to June 2018, where responsibilities included advising on policy development and managing projects. Early career experience includes roles such as Senior Policy Analyst, Medicaid Policy Analyst, and Policy Attorney at The Center for Medicare Advocacy. Andrea's legal experience encompasses work as a student attorney at Loyola University Chicago Health Justice Project, a legal extern at Smart Policy Works, and a law clerk at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago and the Department of Justice. Andrea holds a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago with certificates in Health Law and Public Interest Law, and an Honors B.A. from the University of Toronto.
