Beverley Laubert serves as the National Ombudsman Program Coordinator at the Administration for Community Living since October 2021, and has held the position of State Long-Term Care Ombudsman at the Ohio Department of Aging since October 1990. Laubert oversees the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman, managing a budget of $5.5 million, supervising a team of 80 staff and 450 volunteers, and providing advocacy on elder rights issues at both state and federal levels. Notable achievements include the development of the Ombudsman Documentation & Information System for Ohio and contributions to the Ohio's Long-Term Care Consumer Guide. Laubert has held several leadership roles, including Secretary of the Ohio Coalition of Adult Protective Services and Immediate Past-President of the National Association of State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Programs. Educational qualifications include an MA in Public Policy & Management from The Ohio State University and a BA in Gerontology from Kent State University.
