Shyam Rathod

Shyam Rathod is an experienced professional currently serving as the State Coordinator for the inREPLACE project at the Administrative Staff College of India, focusing on reducing plastic pollution and improving solid waste management. With a strong background in grassroots governance, Shyam leads initiatives for the Institute of Grassroots Governance in Telangana, emphasizing child-friendly panchayats and empowering women leaders. As a curator and member of the Global Shapers Community in Hyderabad, Shyam contributes to global discussions on youth engagement and social issues. Previous roles include managing projects for Saahas NGO in solid waste management, leading initiatives under Tata Trusts to improve nutrition through district-level engagement, and coordinating for the Aga Khan Foundation India on the Poshan Abhiyaan. Shyam's academic foundation includes a Master's degree in Local Governance and Development and an engineering degree in Metallurgical Engineering.
