Roberto Nerici

Roberto Nerici is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Chapter Lead for Customer Engagement at Admiral Group Plc, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of a voice channel virtual agent. Prior to this role, Roberto held multiple positions at the BBC from November 2012 to July 2021, including Software Team Lead for Smart Speakers, responsible for the BBC Sounds Alexa skill, and Technical Architect for Connected Studio, where Roberto coordinated technical efforts across various teams. Roberto's earlier experience includes roles at Promethean, Sony Ericsson, RTS, Thermo Electron, and Pantek Ltd, encompassing software engineering and team leadership. Roberto holds a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering and Internet Architecture from the University of Bradford and a Bachelor’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh.
