Asli Charlene Goodwin

Charlene Goodwin has extensive experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on the insurance industry. Charlene currently serves as a Board Member for the Insurance Marketing & Communications Association. Prior to this, they held the position of VP of Marketing at Admiral Insurance Group and EVP, Chief Marketing Officer at Advisen. In these roles, they were responsible for strategic marketing initiatives, including rebranding, product launches, go-to-market strategies, and implementing marketing automation. Charlene also worked as Vice President of Marketing and Communications at EQECAT, where they managed marketing and communications efforts. Additionally, they held roles in marketing and communications at Kyp Systems, ESIS Inc., Goebel of North America, and Church & Dwight Co., Inc.

Charlene Goodwin, ASLI, has had a diverse and extensive education history. In 2002, they attended Thomas Edison State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing. Charlene then pursued further education at the University of Phoenix from 2004 to 2007, earning their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing. Continuing their education, Charlene attended NYU Stern School of Business in 2011 and 2012, completing two programs: Strategic Marketing Management and Communication Strategies: Developing Leadership Presence.

In addition to their academic achievements, Charlene has obtained various certifications. In 2012, they received the Intro to P&C Insurance certification from The Institutes. In 2017, they obtained the Inbound Certification from HubSpot. Most recently, in 2020, Charlene acquired the Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) designation from The Institutes. Charlene also completed the Content Marketing certification from HubSpot Academy in 2021. As an accomplished learner, Charlene has continuously augmented their knowledge and skills through a combination of formal education and industry certifications.
