Daniel Garner has held various roles in the IT industry. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Software Engineer at Grid-Tools, where they developed their data generation software. In 2012, they joined BT as a Systems Engineer and later became a Project Manager, responsible for delivering software and network projects. In 2016, they moved to Derivco Ipswich, first as a Client Department Project Manager and then as a Programme Manager, leading international programs across different branches. From 2017 to 2020, Garner worked at QDOS-sbl Group as the Head of Technical Delivery, overseeing project management and IT telecoms engineering. Currently, they are the Head of IT at Adnams, where they oversee the digital capability of the company, including infrastructure, application systems, and consumer experience enhancement.

Daniel Garner's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Swansea University, which they completed from 2008 to 2011. Daniel then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Advanced Computer Science with a specialization in Safe and Secure Systems from Swansea University, which they completed in 2012. Currently, they are enrolled in the University of East Anglia, undertaking an Executive MBA program in Business Administration and Management.

In addition to their degrees, Daniel Garner has obtained several certifications, including the Chartered Engineer certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, in June 2015 and the Certified ScrumMaster® certification from Scrum Alliance in August 2016. Daniel also holds certifications in IT Information Library Foundations (ITIL) v3, 3CX Advanced Certified Engineer v16, and MSP Foundation Certificate in Programme Management, among others. Daniel is expected to acquire additional certifications, including the Chartered Manager certification and the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines, in 2023.
