Dr. Shanavas Koya

Dr. Shanavas Koya is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human capital management and strategic oversight across various industries. Currently serving as Head of Performance & Rewards at ADNOC Distribution, Dr. Koya leads initiatives for a diverse workforce of over 14,000 employees and has developed a new Performance and Career framework. As a Board Member at SHANSCO International, strategic input is provided across technology, investments, and other sectors, with a focus on governance and operational alignment. Previous roles include Vice President of Shared Services at TA’ZIZ, where a shared services division was established, and Senior Manager of Human Capital at ADNOC Distribution, where HR strategies were refreshed. A longstanding career at DP World featured roles such as Group Head of Talent Management, overseeing global performance management frameworks, and involvement in various IT and transformation projects. Dr. Koya's educational background includes a Doctorate and Master's in Business Administration, along with a Diploma in Software Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
