Marijn Spruit

Marijn Spruit has significant experience in the energy industry, with a focus on strategy, portfolio management, and market intelligence. Marijn is currently serving as the Senior Vice President for Strategy, Portfolio & Market Intelligence at ADNOC Group, where they are involved in driving growth plans and promoting climate and energy transition initiatives. Prior to this, they owned a consulting firm called Lasting Solutions, providing advice and interim management for businesses looking to advance their energy transition goals. Marijn has also held various leadership positions at companies such as Boer & Croon, Porthos, Shell, and North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC N.V.), where they were responsible for operations, project management, and strategy development. Marijn Spruit's expertise lies in delivering business results, implementing transformative change, and driving improvements in the energy sector.

Marijn Spruit completed their secondary education at Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenar from 1978 to 1981, earning their VWO degree. From 1981 to 1985, they attended Bataafse Kamp Hengelo, where they also achieved a VWO degree in the field of Atheneum. Continuing their educational journey, Marijn Spruit completed their Master of Science degree in Mechanical engineering Process control from Delft University of Technology between 1985 and 1992.
