Sergio Oliveira

Sergio Oliveira has extensive experience in the drilling industry, currently serving as Assistant Rig Manager at ADNOC Group since January 2017. Prior to this role, Sergio worked with Transocean Offshore Deepwater Drilling INC from October 1999 to April 2015, progressing through various positions including Toolpusher. Sergio's early career began at SPT - Sociedade Técnica de Perfuração, where responsibilities included Floor/Derrick functions on land rigs. Throughout the tenure at Transocean, Sergio gained expertise in both land and deepwater drilling operations across multiple regions, including Brazil, South Africa, and India, holding roles such as Roughneck, Pump Man, Assistant Driller, Cyber Assistant Driller, and Driller Cyber. Sergio holds an educational background from Escola Tecnica Federal Bahia.
