Karin Olson

Karin Olson is the Chief of Staff to the CFO of Finance Operations at Adobe Systems. Karin has over 15 years of experience in revenue recognition and contract management. Karin began their career in 2005 as a Senior Revenue Analyst at Oracle Corp. (Hyperion). In this role, they provided guidance to Global Operations, Sales and Legal groups regarding deal structuring and business practices. Karin also developed and launched SOX controls and certified training program, a company-wide initiative to educate employees about the revenue recognition process.

In 2006, Karin joined Openwave, Inc. as their Sales Controller. In this role, Karin provided technical revenue recognition guidance for complex, multiple element arrangements. Karin also collaborated with Sales, Legal and Professional Services to structure contracts from pipeline to execution, serving as a key stakeholder in deal negotiations. Karin led revenue recognition trainings to internal groups and managed a Sr. Revenue Analyst.

Karin joined Adobe Systems in December 2007 as their Chief of Staff to the CFO of Finance Operations. In this role, Karin is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department and providing support to the CFO. Karin is a highly skilled revenue recognition expert with a proven track record of successfully managing complex contracts.

Karin Olson has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration - Accounting from Saint Mary's College of California and Archbishop Mitty.
