Lauren Dest

Lauren Dest is a Senior Staff Designer specializing in design strategy and human-centered AI at Adobe, where they focus on strategic design vision and AI/ML solutions. Previously, Lauren held positions in UX Design and Research at companies such as Netspend and Grainger, and worked as an Archives & Museum Technician for the National Park Service and the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration. They co-led a design research engagement with IDEO and are a co-inventor of 15 patented AI/ML innovations, recognized with several awards for their contributions to accessibility technology. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, Cultural, and Intellectual History from The University of Connecticut and a Master of Science in Information Science with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction from The University of Texas at Austin.
