Jennifer Long

Jennifer Long has extensive experience in social work, primarily focusing on child welfare and family services. Since June 2009, Jennifer has held various managerial and supervisory roles at the Frederick County Department of Social Services, including Foster Care Program Manager and Resource Homes Supervisor. In addition, Jennifer has been an Adoption Social Worker at Paths for Families since December 2016. Prior professional experience includes roles as a Child and Family Therapist at both Victor Cullen Center and RICA Rockville, as well as conducting mental health evaluations at Montgomery General Hospital. Jennifer began their career in the social work field at the Prince George’s County Department of Social Services, working in child advocacy and protective services from 1996 to 2001. Jennifer holds a Master of Social Work from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
