Jean-Paul Pigat

Jean-Paul Pigat is a highly experienced economist currently serving as a Senior Economist at ADQ since January 2020. Prior to this role, Jean-Paul founded Lighthouse Research in April 2017, an independent research company in Dubai specializing in the economic and geopolitical landscape of the MENA region. Jean-Paul also worked as a Senior Economist at Emirates NBD from May 2013 to April 2017, focusing on non-GCC economies, and led the Middle East and North Africa Analysis team at Business Monitor International between July 2008 and May 2013. Jean-Paul holds an MSc in Comparative Politics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Political Science from The University of British Columbia.
