Johann Zietsman

Johann Zietsman currently serves as the President and CEO of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts since February 2019. Prior to this role, Zietsman was the Chief Executive Officer at Arts Commons from August 2009 to December 2018, and held the same position at the Mesa Arts Center from March 2007 to August 2009. Zietsman also served as Chief Executive Officer of the International Society for the Performing Arts from August 2002 to March 2007, and began a career in leadership as Chief Executive Officer of The Playhouse Company from December 1993 to December 1999. Zietsman holds a Master's degree in Music from Ithaca College, completed between 1980 and 1982, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University Orange Free State, studying from 1974 to 1979.
