Andrei Petrus

Andrei Petrus has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Andrei is currently working as the Director of Product Management at AdsWizz since December 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Product Unit Lead - Ad & Listener Experience at AdsWizz from January 2020 to December 2021.

From 2012 to 2020, Andrei held various roles at Avira (Now Part of NortonLifeLock Inc.). Andrei was the Director of Product Management & Engineering, IoT Security from November 2017 to January 2020, where they played a key role in developing the Avira SafeThings platform. Andrei also worked as the Head of Product Management, Open Innovation Unit from May 2016 to October 2017, and as a Sr. Product Manager for Mobile Security and Performance Tools from June 2012 to May 2016.

Prior to their time at Avira, Andrei worked as a Product Manager at Bitdefender from June 2010 to May 2012.

Andrei also has experience as a Firmware Engineer and Co-Founder at Code Guard from August 2008 to February 2011, where they contributed to the development and marketing of fleet management solutions.

Furthermore, they worked as a Network Software Engineer at Networx from September 2008 to October 2009.

Andrei Petrus completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2006 to 2010. Andrei then pursued a Master of Science in Computer and Information Technology at the same university from 2010 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Andrei has obtained various certifications. In 2019, they completed a certification in Business Analytics from Harvard Business School. In 2016, they attended the Singularity University for Executive Education in Exponential Technologies. Andrei also obtained a certification as a Public Speaker from Impact! Communication Coaching in 2015. In 2012, they received the Agile - Professional Scrum Product Owner II certification from Scrum.org. Additionally, Andrei obtained the ISTQB - Foundation Level certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2010 and the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco in the same year. Andrei has also completed online courses through LinkedIn, including "Create a Go-to-Market Plan" and "Learning Google Cloud Security," although specific completion dates are not provided for these courses.
