Jennifer Verbiar

Jennifer Verbiar has a diverse range of work experience in the education industry. Jennifer started their career as a Supervising Editor at Words & Numbers, where they managed text and art manuscript files and supervised junior editors. Jennifer then moved on to Lippincott Williams and Wilkins as a Managing Editor, where they achieved on-time, on-budget, and on-spec title publications. At Lippincott Williams and Wilkins, they also conducted market reviews and focus groups to determine market needs. Jennifer then became the Supervisor of Product Development at the same company, where they initiated and maintained relationships to develop high-quality education products. Jennifer also supervised a team of editors and established a coach/mentor relationship with each team member. Following that, they worked as a Learning Architect at Laureate Education, Inc., and is currently serving as the Director of Product Development at Adtalem Global Education.

Jennifer Verbiar received a BA in Philosophy from Salisbury University in 2001 and went on to earn a Masters of Science in Professional Writing from Towson University in 2004.
