Kalvin Latimer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kalvin started their career as the Director of Public Health and Office Manager at Rialto Multi-Specialty Clinic from 1992 to 1997. Kalvin then worked as a Certified Physician Assistant and Board Member at Marygold Medical Clinic from 1997 to 2008. From 2010 to 2012, they held the role of Associate Director of Education at UEI College, where they assisted the Director of Education in managing faculty and achieving completion and retention goals. Later, they became the Director of Education at UEI College from 2012 to 2017, where they managed student retention, attendance, and completion outcomes. Currently, they are the Regional Vice President of Academic Affairs and Operations at Adtalem Global Education, responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and evaluating faculty professional development programs and improving educational quality across multiple educational units.

Kalvin Latimer completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Loma Linda University between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Physician Assistant from Loma Linda University from 1995 to 1997. Kalvin'seducational journey started in 1993 when they pursued a Master's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from UCLA, which they completed in 1995.
