Heather King

Heather King has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Heather currently serves as the Connect Care Health Director at Aduro since 2021. Previously, they worked at Brook Personal Health Companion as the Health Director from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, they were a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator at Pacific Medical Centers from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, Heather owned Root Nutrition and worked as an Owner and Registered Dietitian from 2009 to 2012. Heather also gained experience as a Clinic Supervisor at Bastyr University Clinic from 2009 to 2012 and as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator at Seattle Indian Health Board from 2006 to 2012.

Heather King has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2006. Heather also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health and Human Performance from the University of Florida, obtained from 1990 to 1994. Additionally, they have additional certifications including a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) from the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education (formerly known as NCBDE), and a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from the Commission On Dietetic Registr.
