Maurice Baarslag

Maurice Baarslag has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Maurice is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance Innovation, Accounting & Tax at Adtran. Prior to this, they held several positions at ADVA, including Vice President of Accounting, Shared Services and Tax, Vice President of Finance EMEA, Vice President of Accounting and Taxes, and Finance Director UK. Maurice also worked as a Global Sales Controller at ADVA. Before joining ADVA, Maurice worked at Nortel Networks as a Senior Financial Analyst and Senior Financial Accountant. Maurice started their career as a Senior Assistant-Accountant at Deloitte Nederland and Assistant-Accountant at Arthur Andersen.

Maurice Baarslag attended Wooldrikshoekschool from 1976 to 1982. Following this, they enrolled at MBO College Oosterborch from 1988 to 1991, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or field of study from this institution. Maurice then pursued higher education at Hogeschool Markus Verbeek, earning a Staatspraktijkdiploma Bedrijfsadministratie (SPD) from 1991 to 1993. Maurice later returned to Hogeschool Markus Verbeek from 1993 to 1997, obtaining a degree in Accountancy with certification.
