Valeria D'Amico

Valeria D'Amico has over two decades of experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as Sales Manager for Strategic Accounts at ADVA Optical Networking since January 2008. In this role, Valeria oversees key Italian accounts and manages the ADVA portfolio, including DWDM, Carrier Ethernet, SDN/NFV, and Synchronization. Previous positions at ADVA include Sales Manager for Italy, focusing on the national market and direct sales to end customers, and Account Manager for Telecom Italia, where product positioning and sales efforts targeted Telecom Italia's infrastructure regions. Earlier experience includes roles at Telecom Italia in presales and project management for data networks, at Siemens in supporting sales activities for optical networks in South Africa, and at Alcatel in R&D, contributing to a DWDM project. Valeria holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and has additional education from Delft University of Technology.
