Waris Qamar

Waris Qamar is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications industry with extensive experience in network solutions and marketing. Currently serving at ADVA since September 2021, Waris previously held significant positions at HFCL as Sr. Manager of Optical Networks, where involvement included major projects for the Indian Government, and at IBM Australia as a Network Specialist, overseeing technical configurations for financial institutions. Additional experience includes roles at ADVA Optical Networking as a Tech Support Engineer, supporting key customer backbone projects, and at Tellabs as a Customer Support Engineer, managing SDH/DWDM projects for prominent clients. Waris holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communications from Jamia Millia Islamia.
