Abel Wen currently serves as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leader at Advance Auto Parts, where responsibilities include establishing the enterprise DEI strategy, enhancing organizational culture through data-driven insights, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering with HR and stakeholders. Previously, at Uber, Abel held the role of Head of DEI Communications, Marketing, Crisis Management, and Budget Operations, creating a centralized communication strategy for DEI initiatives and managing a budget exceeding $5 million. Prior experience as a Senior Retirement Actuarial Consultant at Mercer involved overseeing actuarial valuations, leading diversity programs, and improving hiring practices. Abel also contributed as Global Co-Chair of the Rising Professionals Business Resource Group, focusing on governance and engagement initiatives. Abel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance from Georgia State University.
