Louise Summerton

Louise Summerton is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry and business development, currently serving as Bids and Tenders Manager at Advance HE since April 2019, where responsibilities include managing UK/ROI consultancy and bespoke programme tender opportunities. In addition to this role, Louise has been with the University of York since 2003, leading as the Green Chemistry Training, Education and Networks Manager and previously holding roles that focused on project management, network management, and education outreach in green chemistry. Earlier career experiences include positions as Research Chemist at Croda and Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline, specializing in medicinal chemistry and chemical synthesis. Louise holds an MChem degree in Chemistry from the University of York, earned in 2001.
