Hemant Gupta

Hemant Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Hemant has held various leadership roles throughout their career. In 2017, they joined AIPL as the President of Punjab and also served as the Head of Sales & Leasing for the North region until 2022. From 2009 to 2017, Hemant worked at IREO Management India Pvt. Ltd., where they held the position of Head of Sales for IREO Waterfront. Prior to that, they worked at Citifinancial Consumer Finance India Ltd. as an Assistant Vice President for Mortgages from 2003 to 2009. Hemant began their professional journey in 1997 at Maharishi Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. as a Management Trainee, eventually becoming a Branch Incharge. Hemant has also held the roles of Branch Manager at Tata Homefinance Ltd. and Transamerica Apple Distribution Finance Ltd. respectively. In 2002, they served as the Area Marketing Manager at ICICI Home Finance Company Ltd., where they were responsible for sales and marketing in Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh.

Hemant Gupta pursued an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Maharshi Dayanand University, which they completed between 1992 and 1994. Following this, they obtained an M.B.A. in Finance from the same university from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they earned a B. Sc. (Non-Medical) degree from Chaudhary Charan Singh University between 1989 and 1992. Hemant Gupta also pursued further legal education, completing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from CT University and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Business Law from the same institution. Hemant also studied Justice and Law at HarvardX.
