Colleen Smith

Colleen Smith is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Project Counsel at Advanced Power since August 2024. Prior to this role, Colleen held various positions at Capital Power from July 2012 to July 2024, including Senior Counsel, Legal Counsel, and Senior Advisor for U.S. Regulatory and Environmental Policy. Colleen's earlier experience includes Direct Claims Account Manager at Resolute Management, Attorney for Environmental and Mass Tort Litigation at Electric Insurance Company, and Law Clerk positions at McGregor & Associates and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. Colleen began their career as Office Manager at Daniel J. Galli & Associates. An alumnus of Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Environmental Studies, Colleen also holds a Juris Doctor, cum laude, and a Master's in Environmental Law & Policy, summa cum laude, from Vermont Law and Graduate School. Colleen has continued education at the University of Galway.
