Rudy Rodriguez

Chief Scientific Officer at Advanced Animal Diagnostics

Rudy Rodriguez has a long and distinguished career in the medical and diagnostic industry. Rudy began their career in 1963 as a Biomedical Engineer at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, where they designed and validated various DOD training approaches using Operant Conditioning techniques. In 1965, they joined Baxter International Inc. as a Project and Program Manager. In 1972, they moved to BD as the BBL/BIOQUEST Manager Instrument Development. In 1979, they joined Beckman Coulter as the COULTER R&D Engineering Manager. In 1981, they returned to BD as the Vice President R&D, BD Primary Care Diagnostics. In 1996, they became the President of MDSC Medical and Diagnostics System Consultants. In 2007, they joined North Carolina State University as an Adjunct Professor in the College of Veterinary Medicine. Finally, in 2001, they founded and became the Chief Scientific Officer of Advanced Animal Diagnostics.

Rudy Rodriguez received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami, and their Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from The George Washington University.
