Michael Scanlon

Michael Scanlon has extensive experience in the field of mental health and support services, currently serving as a Youth Advocate and Peer Support Specialist at Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. since April 2015. In this role, Michael focuses on reducing mental health stigma among young adults through social media and outreach initiatives. Additionally, Michael has worked as a Life Skills Mentor at The Arc New London County since April 2014, utilizing expressive art therapy to empower clients of various abilities and ages. Prior to these roles, Michael was an Esthetician at SEPHORA from October 2012 to April 2014. Michael holds a degree in Communications from Middlesex Community College and an esthetician certification from Brio Academy of Cosmetology-Niantic.
