Katie Woodhead has a diverse work experience in the field of customer experience, web experience, and visual merchandising. Katie has held leadership positions in various companies, including Advanced Commerce as the Director of Customer Experience and The Body Shop as the Head of Web Experience (UK). Prior to that, they were the Head of Experience Consulting at Attraqt, where they provided consumer behavior insights and experience strategies to over 300 brands. Katie has also worked as an Online Trading Manager - Visual Merchandising at TOPSHOP.COM and as an Online Visual Merchandising Manager at Boohoo.com, where they led launches into new international territories and optimized product placement to increase revenue. Before entering the corporate world, Katie worked as a self-employed Fashion Designer/Company Director at Katie Crush and as a Store Visual Merchandiser and Window Artist at Storm (Watches & Jewellery).
Katie Woodhead obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Photography/Installation Art from the Cumbria Institute of the Arts, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including Heuristic analysis frameworks for conversion optimization audits and Landing page optimization from CXL in October 2021. Katie also completed the Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certification from IBM in March 2021 and the Usability Testing Training certification from Webcredible, part of Inviqa, in May 2019.
