Current Operations Planner - 41st Combat Rescue Squadron (acc) at Advanced Concepts Enterprises

John Coghill has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. John is currently working as a Current Operations Planner at Advanced Concepts Enterprises, Inc (ACEs), specifically with the 41st Combat Rescue Squadron (ACC). Prior to this, they worked at CAE as an Aircraft & Aircrew Scheduler for the 71st Combat Rescue Squadron (ACC). In this role, they were responsible for daily aircraft and aircrew scheduling to ensure full coverage and accommodate changing conditions.

Before joining CAE, John served in the United States Air Force, where they held various positions. John served as the 23d Wing Flight Safety Superintendent, overseeing accident investigations, reporting, and data entry. John also worked as an Aircraft Production Superintendent, managing maintenance priorities and overseeing personnel and equipment for A10/C130/HH60 aircraft. John also served as a Section Chief for the A10/TF34-GE-100 Engine Test Cell, the A10/C130/HH60 Aircraft Fuel System, the A10/C130/HH60 Periodic Engine Inspection, and the F15/F100-PW-229/220 JEIM Propulsion. In these roles, they supervised testing, diagnostics, and repairs for engines and fuel systems and managed maintenance schedules and facilities.

Additionally, John has worked at Weyerhauser Co as a Maintenance Millwright Apprentice and in the Shipping & Receiving Department. John also worked at Horizon Bow Co. as the Shipping & Receiving Manager and the Production Assembly Manager. John started their career as a Security Forces Augmentee/Base Defender and a C141/TF33-P-7 Engine Maintenance Technician in the United States Air Force.

Prior to joining the Air Force, John worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator/Agriculture at Bowers & Sons Inc., where they operated various agricultural equipment and handled warehouse operations.

John Coghill has a diverse education history. From 2015 to 2018, they attended the University of Management and Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (BSCJ) with a specialization in Criminal Justice.

In addition to their bachelor's degree, John obtained multiple certificates in various fields. John completed the USAF Senior Non Commissioned Officer Academy in 2017, focusing on Military and Strategic Leadership. During this time, they also pursued certificates in Aviation Safety Management through the Air Force Flight Safety Non-Commissioned Officer Course (FSNCO) and Aviation Safety Mishap Investigation and Reporting through the Aircraft Mishap Investigation Course (AMIC), both in 2016.

Prior to these achievements, John earned a certificate in Military and Strategic Leadership from the Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education Course in 2014. John also obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Aircraft Powerplant Technology/Technician from the Community College of the Air Force between 2010 and 2012.
