Colton Scott

Colton Scott has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Mechanical Engineer at Advanced Construction Robotics since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Robotics Engineer I at Carnegie Robotics LLC from July 2020 to January 2022. Colton also served as a Project Engineer at TAIT from January 2020 to July 2020.

Colton has previous experience at Tesla, where they held multiple roles, including Manufacturing Equipment Engineer from September 2019 to December 2019 and Associate Equipment Automation Engineer from April 2018 to September 2019.

Before Tesla, Colton worked at the Rochester Institute of Technology as a Student from May 2010 to December 2017 and as a Machinist from August 2016 to August 2017. During their time as a Machinist, they provided guidance and assistance to students, machined parts from provided drawings or CAD files using CNC machines.

Colton also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. from January 2015 to August 2015 and as an Engineering Co-op at GE Aviation from January 2014 to August 2014.

Their work experience dates back to their role as a Computer tech at The Urban School of San Francisco, where they worked from April 2007 to August 2009.

Colton Scott pursued their education at Rochester Institute of Technology, where they first obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2010 to 2016. Colton then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2016 to 2017 at the same institution.
