Damien Lally

Damien Lally has a diverse and extensive work experience. Damien began in 2011 as a Field Research Operations Coordinator at Pan Atlantic SMS Group before moving on to become a Phone Canvass Manager at Maine People's Alliance in 2012. At Maine People's Alliance, Damien supervised a team of 10 union phone canvassers and fundraisers during the 2012 U.S. Election. In 2013, they joined Maine Island Trail Association as a Membership Manager. Damien then joined Essential Partners in 2014 and held various roles throughout their tenure, including Development Coordinator, Development Manager, and eventually Director of Development. At Essential Partners, Damien was responsible for securing funding from private donors, foundations, and sponsors, as well as managing fundraising strategies, budgets, and operations. Damien also cultivated relationships with funders and peer institutions and developed plans for long-term sustainability. Damien's most recent role was as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Advanced Energy United, starting in 2023.

Damien Lally attended Wesleyan University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy.
