Verna Mandez

Director, Transmission Program at Advanced Energy United

Verna Mandez has a diverse work experience in the field of policy and advocacy. Verna currently works as the Policy Director for the Transmission Campaign at Advanced Energy United, a position they started in September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy Director at the Nevada Conservation League (NCL) from September 2020 to August 2022. In this role, they oversaw program work, campaign planning, and staff management, aiming to elevate environmental issues and build leadership for conservation in Nevada.
