Jack McDonnal

Jack McDonnal is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in power conversion solutions. Currently serving as the Director of Field Applications Engineering at Advanced Energy since November 2021, Jack has previously held key positions such as Solutions Architect -FAE at Artesyn Embedded Power, Head of Engineering and Technology at Digital Power Corporation, and Director of Engineering for Power Supplies at Astrodyne TDI. At Digital Power Corporation, Jack was responsible for developing technologies and product strategies to drive innovation in power conversion. Earlier in career at Astrodyne TDI, Jack led the development of power supplies for commercial and military applications, and held the role of VP of Engineering overseeing advanced power conversion products. Jack's long tenure at RO Associates, Inc. included roles as General Manager and Vice President of Engineering, focusing on high-density power module design. Jack earned an education from the University of California, Berkeley, after graduating from Saratoga High School in Saratoga, CA.
