Lead Engineer - Plasma Power Applications at Advanced Energy

Vitaly Petrishchev Ph.D. has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Test Engineer in the R&D department at JSC "Aeroelectromach," where they focused on testing and quality control of electrical hardware components for helicopter control units. In 2010, Vitaly joined Keldysh Research Center as an Engineer/Intern in the Design Bureau. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University, conducting research in the field of nanosecond pulsed discharge plasma flow actuators and developing experiments for studying non-equilibrium transient plasmas. Since 2016, Vitaly has been employed at Advanced Energy, where they started as an Applications Engineer II, providing support and development for new RF equipment. Vitaly eventually moved up to the role of Engineer III and is currently serving as the Lead Engineer in Plasma Power Applications.

Vitaly Petrishchev holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, which they earned from The Ohio State University in 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the same university from 2011 to 2015. Vitaly began their educational journey at Bauman Moscow State Technical University, where they obtained their first Master's degree in Power Engineering from 2005 to 2011.
