George Saifi

George Saifi has a diverse work experience in procurement and logistics. George is currently serving as the Head of Global Procurement and Logistics at AIR (Advanced Inhalation Rituals) since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Procurement Director at Kuwait Food Company (Americana) from June 2019 to January 2021. Before that, they held the position of Head of Purchasing Department at Henkel Adhesives Technologies India Pvt. Ltd from July 2017 to June 2019. George also worked at Henkel as the Regional Head of Purchasing Raw Material - India Middle East Africa from August 2016 to June 2019. Previously, they gained valuable experience at Mars, where they held various roles including Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing Manager, Prime Buyer in Raws & Packs Procurement, and Research and Development/Innovation Team Leader. George started their career as the Quality Assurance Supervisor at M.O. Gandour & Sons Group from August 2002 to November 2004.

George Saifi attended the American University of Beirut from 1993 to 2002, where they earned an MSc in Food Science and Technology with a focus on Food Science and Manufacturing. George also obtained an MSc in Food Science from the same institution from 1993 to 2001. Additionally, George Saifi holds a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology from the American University of Beirut.
