Jigar Thakkar

Jigar Thakkar has a strong experience in tax management and consulting. Jigar began their career as an intern at EY in 2011, and later worked as a Consultant from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they joined ACWA Power as a Tax Supervisor, and moved up to the position of Tax Manager in 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Global Head of Tax at AIR (Advanced Inhalation Rituals) since October 2019.

Jigar Thakkar obtained a Level 2 Candidate certification in Finance from the CFA Institute from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a degree as a Chartered Accountant specializing in Accounting, Finance, and Taxation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, between 2010 and 2015. Jigar also completed their Bachelor of Commerce - BCom degree, focusing on Accounting, Economics, and Taxation, at Mulund College of Commerce, Mumbai University, from 2008 to 2013.
