Michael E. Wu, CPIM, CPA has a diverse range of work experience in financial and accounting roles. Michael E. currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer - USA for AIR (Advanced Inhalation Rituals), a global shisha tobacco manufacturer. Prior to this, they were the Chief Financial Officer of MK_Products, where they oversaw the manufacturing of custom welding equipment. Michael E. also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at CEMCO, a leading manufacturer of cold-formed steel framing and metal lath products. Additionally, Michael has worked as an Adjunct Accounting Instructor at Cypress College and as the Vice President of Finance at Cramer Decker Industries, a gas containment and delivery technology company. Michael E. has also served as a Controller at Precision Castparts, a manufacturer of airframe fasteners, and Storm Industries, a manufacturer of after-market parts for Caterpillar engines. Earlier in their career, Michael worked as an Accounting Manager at Cofiroute USA, a toll road developer and operator, and as a Senior Accountant at Krause's Custom Crafted Furniture, a high-end furniture manufacturer.

Prior to that, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance from the same university in 2003. In 2000, they attained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton as well. In addition to their formal education, Michael has acquired several certifications, including Certified in Production & Inventory Management from APICS in 2018 and Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy in 2007. Other certifications they hold include Data Analyst in SQL and SQL Fundamentals from DataCamp, Google Project Management and Pricing Strategy Optimization from Coursera, Six Sigma Green Belt from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, and Tableau Desktop Certified Professional Certification from Tableau Software.
