Andy Donnelly

Andy Donnelly is an accomplished professional in the biopharmaceutical field with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as Group R&D Director at Advanced Medical Solutions since July 2022, Andy previously worked as a Principal Consultant at CombiDev Ltd for a brief period. Notably, Andy held the position of Vice President of Innovation at Bespak from September 2013 to March 2022, where leadership of the Innovation Team involved collaborating with the biopharmaceutical industry to develop new Combination Products. Earlier roles include Associate Director at MedImmune, where Andy established the Device Development and Drug Delivery capability, and multiple positions at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, contributing significantly to the development of biopharmaceutical formulation capabilities. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Drug Delivery and a BPharm in Pharmacy, both obtained from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
