Kang-Lin Wang

Kang-Lin Wang is an experienced technical professional currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at AMD since November 2021, where contributions include enhancing training workloads for MosaicML MPT models and optimizing performance on ROCm/MI300X. Prior to that, Kang-Lin worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Blue Ocean Smart System, managing a deep learning benchmark system, and as an Engineering Section Manager at Applied Materials, where machine learning algorithms for semiconductor processes were developed. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at MediaTek, focusing on algorithm development for compiler optimization, and an internship at HTC involving cloud computing systems. Kang-Lin holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Engineering in Communication Engineering and Signal Processing from National Taiwan University.
