Sam Naffziger is a highly accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in product technology and power efficiency. Since joining AMD in February 2006, Sam has held several key roles, including Senior Vice President, AMD Corporate Fellow, and Product Technology Architect, focusing on optimizing the power, performance, and area of AMD products. Sam has also contributed significantly to improving power efficiency and driving technology strategies, including packaging and chiplet architecture. Prior to AMD, Sam served as a Fellow and Director at Intel, managing Itanium Circuits and Technology, and held a Fellowship position at Hewlett Packard. Sam's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Caltech.
