Sonal Mittal

Sonal Mittal currently serves as an MTS Silicon Design Engineer at AMD, a position held since September 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Staff Digital Design Verification Engineer at Mythic from October 2018 to August 2022, focusing on verifying inference accelerator chips using SystemVerilog and UVM. Earlier in career, Sonal worked at Seagate Technology as a Senior Digital Design Verification Engineer from August 2010 to September 2018, conducting pre-silicon RTL verification of SSD Controller SoCs and developing advanced testbenches. Initial experience included a position as ASIC Engineer, performing pre-silicon RTL verification of IP blocks. A short tenure as a Summer COOP at Premitec, Inc involved studying chip design for retinal prosthesis. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology.
